Silambarasan was in the process of applying for UK

Silambarasan was in the process of applying for UK Visa when an official over there came to know that his full name is Silambarasan Thesingu Rajendran. On noting this, the official suggested that he would henceforth use the abbreviation STR so that it would rhyme with the legendary MG Ramachandran, affectionately addressed as MGR.

Though the actor is well aware that he has to reach greater heights to achieve that fame, he has decided to use STR instead of Silambarasan.

Also, Silambarasan will soon support service and non-governmental organizations in order to lend a helping hand to the needy. The actor has said that he will make an announcement on this issue soon.

Vaanam

It has already been announced that Silambarasan and Bharath will be starring together in Vaanam. The Young Superstar, which happens to be Silambarasan’s title, will obviously be used for this film. But we also know that Bharath, his co-star in this film, is affectionately known as Chinna Thalapathy by his fans. So, will he use this title?

According sources, Bharath is keen on having this prefix to his name if Silambarasan insists on Young Superstar. He is reported to have made this clear to the makers of Vaanam. There is a talk in Kollywood that Silambarasan may not agree to Bharath’s title. Let’s wait and watch.
